CARBAYO

CARBAYO is a musician and composer from Spain with a recognized and extensive trajectory in country-rock bands now focused on his solo career within the Americana genre.

The Longlook Ride, his first solo album is the story of a fictional cowboy who lived in the United States in the second half of the 19th century, from his youth up to his life as a bounty hunter, his time as a soldier in the Civil War, his years as a bandit, all illustrated with great guitar work and an amazing voice.

 

Mastered in Nashville,TN (USA) by 5-time Grammy winner Richard Dodd (Tom Petty, Roy Orbison,Robert Plant, George Harrison, etc). CARBAYO has a close relationship with Music City where he works out his talent as a songwriter belonging to the Americana Music Asociation.

 

After the releasing he was touring USA, 16 acoustic gigs in emblematic places like Nashvile, Memphis, Dallas , Las Vegas and and he led the International Festival of Texas.

After a long stay living in Nashville working with musicians and local producers and presenting his new songs in writers rounds in such mythical places as The Bluebird, CARBAYO is back in Europe to record the songs of the one on his new album SURVIVE.

Recorded in Arcane Planet Studios, Salamanca, it has the real Americana sound.

Making a break in the recording he returned to the USA with SURVIVE TOUR, a tour with part of his band that culminated in California at the Festival of Auburn, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

This last summer CARBAYO has spent more than 2 months touring the USA again on their Solo America tour, 11 solo concerts in small venues.

In mid-November, SURVIVE is finally presented, an album full of experiences and personal feelings illustrated in country, rock and Americana styles. The videoclip of the homonymous single has had a great success and reception.
